<div>Mijn naam is Leonie en ik ben medisch pedicure met 20 jaar ervaring en met een eigen pedicuresalon FitFeet. Op 28 november vertrek ik voor 2,5 week naar <strong>Kenia </strong>om daar <strong>vrijwillig voetzorg te bieden aan mensen die dat hard nodig hebben</strong>.

<div>In Kenia is goede voetzorg, vooral bij mensen met diabetes, vrijwel niet beschikbaar. Veel mensen weten niet hoe ze hun voeten goed moeten verzorgen, met ernstige gevolgen zoals infecties en zelfs amputaties. Voor medische hulp moeten ze bovendien zelf betalen, en dat geld is er vaak niet.

<div>Samen met een vriend die al jarenlang in Kenia werkt en een lokaal netwerk heeft van artsen, zusters en bewoners, ga ik:
