<div>Fien Germijns en Thibault Christiaensen kregen bovenstaand bericht van brandweerman Pieter Maes binnen in de app van Studio Brussel. Ze besloten om, samen met alle luisteraars, brandweerman Pieter een hart onder de riem te steken en startten deze crowdfunding op.

<div>Nog geen 24 uur later stond 2-voudig wereldkampioen Niels Albert met een gloednieuwe gravelbike aan de brandweerkazerne van Pieter om hem opnieuw op de fiets te krijgen.
