PLEASE HELP MY MOM

I'm reaching out to you today because our family needs your help. My mom was recently diagnosed with Astrocytoma, an aggressive form of brain tumor and needs to have an operation right away. She lives on a small island in the Caribbean where the health care is not the best. She was dicharged from the hospital because they couldn't provide much help for her. They provided my mom with pain killers and a prescription to prevent brain swelling and advised us to seek medical care elsewhere. With the help of the hospital's social worker, we found a hospital in Trinidad, that will take her case but their fee is $260,000.00 TT which is about $45,000 US. My mom has no health insurance coverage so we have to raise this money on our own as soon as possible. My mom is still young and was very vibrant and energetic, so full of life before this ordeal. I've seen how this condition has affected her ability to care for herself and to hold a normal conversation. A few weeks ago, we thought we were losing her because she kept getting worse day after day and we didn't know what to expect from one moment to the next. But by the grace of God she's still with us today but we don't know for how long. If you can find it in your hearts and your pocketbooks to contribute to this worthy cause, our family will be eternally grateful.
