Chase Langham

Chase Langham, 16, was one of the children involved in a tragic automobile accident that claimed the lives of two of his best friends on June 4, 2019. Although Chase is fortunately no longer in a coma, he is still in the ICU and only able to communicate by blinking his eyes for “yes” or “no”. The doctors are unsure if he will ever be able to walk, talk, or feed himself again. His family is preparing to go through extensive training where they will learn how to care for Chase long-term. His father, has been unable to resume his job, which will likely be the case for the foreseeable future, since Chase will require constant care. Although Chase is currently covered by medical insurance, this family is struggling under the weight of mounting bills, out of pocket medical expenses, and preparations for handicap accessible housing, transportation, etc.
