Edyta - My Special Friend

This is my dear friend Edyta.

Her story:

Due to Edyta's cousin recently being diagnosed with breast cancer, Edyta was tested for brca gene mutation. Edyta' s results came back positive, she carry' s brca 2 gene. This means Edyta has a 9/10 chance of getting breast cancer and a 50 % chance of ovarian cancer.

Edyta has a family history of breast and ovarian cancer. She too carry's a gene which means she is likely to get either or both.

Edyta is 38 yrs old, a mother of 3 children and has a loving husband who works all hours to support them.

Edyta has taken the tough decision to have a mastectomy and hysterectomy. (Both tough surgeries which will unable her to work and provide for her children for some time).

She is likely to have the surgeries in the next few months.

If we can help her financially, this will relieve some stress off her. It's alot to go through, without the additional stress of not knowing how she will be able to provide for her children, whilst recovering from her operations.
