Edwina's Medical Help Fund

Our friend, Edwina Ryan needs our help as she grapples with the recent diagnosis of breast cancer.  

This year, she showed a lot of courage in the dissolution of a longterm relationship, two moves, the loss of a job and starting a new one.  She is now scheduled for a mastectomy on January 4, as a result of a large cancerous tumor.  Unfortunately, her new employer will not pay any leave because she has been with them a short period of time.  She will also have to pay extensive deductible and out of pocket expenses as a result of the surgery and other possible treatments once an assessment of the tumor is completed.  

She has always been there for her friends and now it is time for us to be there for her.  

Any donation amount to this fund will help her since she is losing between a week and two weeks of income and is already seeing her medical bills stack up.  She will also need some help after getting out of the hospital on January 6.  There will be an opportunity for individuals to stay with her while she heals, run errands and complete other "todos".
