Edward Weston's Homegoing Fund

His name was Edward Steve Weston, but he was a jack of all trades. Overflowing with talent and passion, Steve left this world (suddenly and much too soon!) with so many aspirations and a vision to use his life experiences to help others. He dreamt of telling his story through his music to inspire people, and he had hopes of working with youth in troubled circumstances.

He lived a lot of life in his short 37 years, most of which he spent dreaming big dreams and getting in and out trouble. He struggled and he stumbled, yet he always persevered. On his last day, he was in the midst of a trial and expressed to his mother, with his usual tenacity and stubborn sense of pride, "I've got to be strong and man up and take care of my responsibilities. . . You didn't raise no quitter." He was a lover and a fighter to the very end.

Steve had a huge heart, overflowing with love, and he never hesitated to express his affection to those he held dear. Despite the difficulties he faced throughout his life, he was still able to smile, laugh, and joke often. His family and friends will miss his high spirits and silly antics. It is with heavy hearts that we say farewell to our son, grandson, brother, husband, father, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend.

The ceremony will take place on Thursday, December 28th at 11 a.m.
