Edward Greene Family Fund

Donation protected
My brother Edward Greene and his family have been battling Lung Cancer for over 3 years now. The cancer has traveled from his lung to his brain and kidneys, and he has already undergone a number of surgeries. Ed has made tremendous accomplishments and has overcome many obstacles in his treatment process; however the battle is far from over and his treatments must continue!

Ed was raised in Holliston, MA and now lives in Uxbridge with his wife Nathalie, son Eddie and daughter Ashley.

Although Ed still tries to make it to work as much as possible the treatments leave him very weak and the medical bills are overwhelming for the family.

As many of you have been affected by cancer are aware, just getting through each doctor appointment or treatment session can be overwhelming and crippling. Please if you can find it in your heart to help this beautiful family by lightening the financial burden it would be greatly appreciated by all those that love them so dearly!

We thank you in advance for your generosity!

The Endless Battle

By:Ashley Greene

My dad came home from work one day,
And clearly had something to say.
The words leaped out eager to speak,
But hearing them made me feel weak.

Stay strong, stay strong, stay strong.

Amazingly with what he said,
He didn’t even seem to shake.
Doctors found cancer in his head.
My world began to slowly break.

He said he would surely prevail,
This illness wouldn’t bring him down.
Like a hero in a story tale,
He may even deserve a crown.

A year went by and he fought hard.
He still worked daily and cleaned the yard.
Although my life turned upside down,
It started to slowly come around.

Stay strong, stay strong, stay strong.

Until one day when we were struck,
It seemed as though we had no luck.
The illness grew inside his kidney.
I asked myself, how could this be?
Why did this all happen to me?

And even though with all this doubt,
My father didn’t seem to pout.
He was stronger than a million men.

Stay strong, stay strong, stay strong.

After a few months were gone,
My family learned to carry on.
My dad was a soldier ready to fight,
Even if there was no light.

Stay strong, stay strong, stay strong.

My dad still competes with it today,
But he won’t let anything in his way.
Because we have come way too far
To give up on this battle now,
We will prove how tough we really are.
My dad will take his final bow.

Stay strong, stay strong, stay strong.
