Education Relief for Puerto Rico

As you can see in the video, schools in Puerto Rico were in dire need before Hurricane Maria destroyed the island.  Among the many needs in Puerto Rico, is the need of our future generations' education on the island. As it stands now very few schools are open and those that are have a reduced school day. Some communities in Puerto Rico are holding classess in community common areas  with nearly no school supplies or books. We cannot allow an entire generation of children to go without education in Puerto Rico especially when the time table given  for reconstruction of basic needs is months , possibly years away.  As an educator, I am able to predict what  the essential supplies and books  are that teachers need to get started. The funds raised will be used to buy school supplies  and books which will be delivered directly to the educators. I am not working directly with any organized charity but with other educators here in the United States who want to support the children of Puerto Rico. Our goal is to be able to have the funds by the end January  2018.
