Education Fund for Dunn Girls

It is with deep sadness that we share sad news about our great friend Bill Dunn. Those who knew him know Bill was a good husband, father, brother and dear friend to many. Bill passed away and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, August 14 at Emory Hospital after a battle with cancer.
Bill left behind a beautiful family including his wife Beth and two middle school-aged daughters, Allison and Rebecca. Bill was adventurous, serving in the US Army out of high school, then attending UAB while obtaining a Master’s Degree. Later he would move to Atlanta and meet Beth, marry, and start a family. Over the years Bill was an avid hockey fan, player and ref creating some great memories with his friends at the Ice Forum in Duluth. Bill always had plenty of fun stories to tell about hockey and military. He attended Birmingham School of Law and obtained a law degree in 2016 while continuing to work and balance family and school.
As friends of the Dunn family, we want to honor his legacy by fundraising for his widowed wife and two young daughters. Bill and Beth know the benefit of an education, so the goal of this campaign is to help support the future education of their daughters. We are asking you, friends of Bill and Beth, for your support.
We ask that in lieu of flowers, a donation to Allison and Rebecca’s education fund be made. The proceeds from this campaign will be transferred into 529 accounts created for each daughter. 529 accounts are tuition savings accounts designed to keep future college expenses affordable. All of the proceeds from this campaign will be used to establish 529 accounts which will be managed and owned by Allison and Rebecca’s mother Beth. Thank you very much.
