Now, more about the challenge:

For the twenty-two years prior to Covid-19, the Education Foundation of Forest Grove has brought the community together to celebrate the holidays through our annual Holiday concert and auction. As our main fundraiser, the proceeds fund our Teacher Grants and higher education scholarships. Although we were unable to have our 2020 concert due to Covid-19, our Teacher Grants and Scholarship programs continue, and we need your help to fully fund these two critical programs.

Our challenge is simple! We ask that participants select an activity challenge that they plan to accomplish during our two week timeline and collect sponsors who will donate based on the success of the challenge. For example, the number of pages I can read in two weeks, or the number of miles I can ride my bike, or the number of bags of trash I can pick up in my community. Or perhaps, the number of jumping jacks I can do in one hour. The possibilities are endless!

Once a challenge is complete, sponsors use this page (Hello sponsors!) to make their donation. Please indicate the participant's name in the Donation comments.

You can make a difference by donating today to Education Foundation of Forest Grove (EFFG).

The EFFG raises funds for public school student education enrichment, given out in the form of teacher classroom grants. These grants benefit needed activities and materials that are not covered by district budget funds. The EFFG also provides scholarships from our endowments to graduating seniors moving onto higher education. This is all possible with funds raised through events and partnerships with valued donors passionate about supporting our students.
