School fees in Papua new Guinea mean that children from the poorest families often go without education.
Andrew Wapio and Kaku Yafei are cousin brothers. They live in Wagu Village, a tiny area of Papua new Guinea. They know it is important for their children to receive an education, their children want to receive an education.
The fees for secondary school are 3000 kina (£600) per year
If you can help to donate a little to allow these children to receive the education they deserve and wish to have, they would be so grateful.
At Outstanding.Global, Nigel Hughes has visited Papua New Guinea many times over the last 30 years, he has lived with these families and these children. His book 'Trees of Paradise' recounts many of these stories and all proceeds go the education fund for these children.
