Education Fellowship Program

Manthan aims to increase education levels among marginalized and excluded communities through many innovative community activities, such as night schools, creches, girl’s school, bridge courses, competition coaching courses, vocational training courses and village women’s schools.

At Manthan, we believe that education will create a potential and capacity among weaker sections of society by enabling these sections to gain access to employment and bridge the growing gap between the rich and the poor. It aims to facilitate a healthy space and environment for education through creative pedagogy of learning.

To begin offering our students a top-notch education, we are planning for an Education Fellowship by placing fellows in schools in the villages of Rajasthan.
Manthan Education Fellowship aims at bringing education as the prime issue among the villagers by creating a network of youth, so that one day all our children will get an excellent education which will make them good and capable leaders with complete insight. We believe that only by living and working together with a community can we learn about their challenges, needs and strengths and help them achieve their full potential through trust and shared experiences.

So, we are focusing on providing children in the region with the best educational opportunities possible through fellows. We will start from 3 schools with 7 fellows reaching the goal of 11 schools with 23 fellows within the next 5 years.
We strive to make sure all our students have the best tools and resources they need to prepare them for tomorrow’s world.

What will Fellows do?

• Create a better environment in school
• Cultivate awareness on education and involve the community in the school's activities
• Develop a specific lesson plan which will clearly state their goals, motivation and approaches
• Build interesting and enjoyable classroom culture with rules
and regulations
• Explore and apply effective & suitable teaching techniques
• Design a weekly assessment plan
• Organize feedback sessions for children and for teachers
• Engage in dialogue about leadership development with children and parents
• Become a social leader along with the other responsibilities.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could contribute any amount towards the required INR 17 Lakhs to launch the Manthan Fellowship Program.
Annual requirement is as follows -
53% for Fellow Expense, 17% for Monitoring and Evaluation, 17% for Audit and Accounting, and 13% for Administration expenses.
