I am raising money for non profit, Arop Yor Ayik Educational CIC towards the payment of school fees for 300+ South Sudanese refugees children who are living in the refugee camps in Uganda, Sudan and South Sudan.

Could you imagine that £150 will sponsor one child's school fees, uniform, bag and books for a year!
The majority of these vulnerable children are orphaned and rely on relatives who are also struggling to meet the basic needs of food and medicine hence finding it difficult to pay for the school fees. As a result, the children are left with no choice but to stay in the camp without education or any future prospect of better future. The living conditions in these camps are harsh and desperate for their well being physically and psychologically.
The organisation supported 30 children in 2021. All your donations will go directly towards the payment of the school fees, teachers, teaching materials such as exercise books, pencils , maths equipment and books.
Itemised budget
1. In Uganda, paying school fees, uniforms, books and school bags for 100 children in a refugee camps cost 145000.000 Ugandan Shillings for each child, this is equivalent to £30 a term. For a year is £9000
2. In South Sudan, 2 x Teachers pay for 30 weeks ( 3 Schools)= 3(50 x 30 wk) =£4,500
Books and teaching materials £500
Total=£5,000
3. In Sudan, AYAE pledges to support school fees for 200+ children.
The minimum cost for each child is £150, total =£150x 200= £30,000
2 teachers in 3 Refugee camps for 30 weeks 3( £50 x 30 wk) = £4,500
4. Due to COVID 19 , we are asking to purchase 10 tablets for students, costing each £100, therefore the total cost is £1000
