Educating Our Youth About the Stock Market

Okay so I have decided to take a leap of faith and raise money for Franklin Military Academy in Richmond Virginia to continue an investment club I started for the students 9 months ago.  Can I tell you how this has changed their lives?  We started with just $100 and purchased shares of stock for the students collectively as a class but after class they were asking how they could purchase shares for themselves.  How powerful is that?  Imagine a student purchasing stock on their own and understanding what a dividend is, attending an annual shareholders meeting?  They become shareholders of the companies they already give their money to such as Wendy's, Sony (Playstation), Microsoft (X-Box), Nike and Under Armour.  Your support will allow us to continue to purchase stock and help the students understand the meaning behind being an owner of a publicly traded company means and building wealth.  We will continue classes virtually until we can come back together in person.  Any amount you donate is much appreciated!
