- school in a remote mountain village destroyed in 2015 earthquake needs funds to sponsor SCHOOL TEACHERS for the 70+kids.  They work for  only $1200 /yr annual salary .. so our $USD go a LONG WAY!! We will also buy each child a new pair of closed toe shoes in time for winter. ♥️

#2 SHAKTI SAMUHA SHELTER KATHMANDU 
TARGET : $4k I am also going to visit with this amazing organization that assists, provides shelter & campaigns for legal assistance to female victims of human trafficking in Nepal. Formed in 1996, by 16 victims rescued from brothers in India, Shakti Samuha has since helped thousands of victims, by providing legal assistance, shelter and education to rural areas around the dangers of trafficking. Inspired by the book- movie “SOLD” I was horrified by the fact that many victims are procured from remote rural areas in Nepal, under the guise of finding well paid employment in the cities. The highest price paid typically is for a 7year old girl. Often, the girls are transported across the border to brothels in India, or to the gulf States where they remain indebted to their traffickers. Many never Make it back to their country. Some are too young to remember the name of their village or their family. Those that do are often shamed and banished from their communities. Through objectives that empower victims, Shakti Samuha are creating change for women who have suffered abuse. It is our mission to help them see their light once more and connect them with women and girls around the world that care and support their journey.  Our donation will Set up a creative program which will train the girls to make jewelry they can sell around the world and connect with those that buy their products. ♥️✨ Initial Target 2k
