Eduardo Felgueres es un hombre que se involucra profundamente en las vidas de las personas que lo rodean. Ha sido parte de un entorno familiar como hijo, hermano, papá, tío, primo y amigo, parte del negocio familiar Viajes Felgueres desde sus 16 años y alguien que siempre ha sido bromista, obstinado, independiente y deportista.
El 4 de Octubre de 2017 Eduardo tuvo un accidente.
Dentro de su mismo departamento, Eduardo sufrió una fuerte caída en donde el lado derecho de su cabeza pegó contra la esquina de un muro.
La caída fue causada por una convulsión de alta intensidad cuando él se encontraba sólo en su casa y donde fue encontrado unas horas después- inconsciente y seriamente lastimado.
Fue llevado al hospital de manera urgente, en el cual le diagnosticaron fractura de cráneo, sangrados internos y parálisis en el lado izquierdo del cuerpo; fue ingresado a cirugía inmediata y fue necesario remover una sección del cráneo y así darle espacio su cerebro para desinflamarse.
Debido a la gravedad de su condición, Eduardo permaneció 2 meses en el hospital, uno de ellos en Terapia Intensiva en estado crítico, hasta que mejoró lo suficiente para ser movido a Terapia Intermedia donde permaneció por el resto de su estancia.
Un par de meses después, le detectaron un desprendimiento de retina y coágulo en el ojo como consequencia de la caída, para lo cual también necesitó cirugía.
A pesar de todo, una recuperación parcial es posible y hoy, a un año del accidente, Eduardo ha progresado inmensamente; vive con su mamá Oliva y necesita enfermeros y terapias tanto físicas como cognitivas diariamente para continuar avanzando. Desafortunadamente, las cuentas son altas, ya que entre la estancia en el hospital, contratación de cuidado de enfermeros, productos de higiene personal, medicinas, terapias, y el implante futuro de una placa de poliestireno para reemplazar la sección del cráneo que fue removida, estas son prácticamente imposibles de pagar.
La cantidad demostrada aquí es únicamente una meta inicial.
Todavía hay muchos gastos por delante, pero con el apoyo de alguien con iniciativa por ayudar, ya sea compartiendo con amigos o donando hasta la menor cantidad posible, Eduardo podrá seguir mejorando.

He has been part of a family environment as a son, brother, dad, uncle, cousin and friend, has been part of the family business Viajes Felgueres since he was 16 years old, and is also someone who has always been fun, stubborn, independent and a good runner.
On October 4, 2017 Eduardo had an accident.
Within his same apartment, Eduardo suffered a sharp fall where the right side of his head hit the corner of a wall.
The fall was caused by a high intensity seizure while he was alone at home, and where he was found a few hours later - unconscious and seriously hurt.
He was taken to the hospital urgently, in which he was diagnosed with skull fracture, internal bleeding and paralysis on the left side of the body; He was admitted to immediate surgery and it was necessary to remove a section of the skull and thus give space to his brain to reduce inflammation.
Due to the severity of his condition, Eduardo stayed 2 months in the hospital, one of them in the Intensive Care Unit until he improved enough to be moved to Intermediate Care where he remained for the rest of his stay.
A couple of months later, doctors detected a retinal detachment and clot in his eye as a consequence of the fall, for which he also needed surgery.
In spite of everything, a partial recovery is possible and today, a year after the accident, Eduardo has improved immensely; He lives with his mother Oliva and requires nurses and both, physical and cognitive therapies, on a daily basis so that he can keep moving forward. Unfortunately, the bills are high, since between the hospital stay, nursing care, personal hygiene products, medicines, therapies, and the future implantation of a polystyrene plate to replace the section of the skull that was removed, these are practically impossible to pay.
The amount shown here is only an initial goal.
There are still many expenses ahead, but with the support of someone willing to help, whether sharing with friends or donating as little as possible, Eduardo will be able to continue getting better.
