Edison HS Native Garden
Our Edison High School Special Ability Cluster students Environmental Science class is continuing to work on the four native plant gardens that were established a year ago. Our goal is to raise $1500.00 to purchase new California native plants for the four garden spaces here on campus. We have limited gardening supplies to support the native gardens, so with your donation we will be able to purchase gardening tools, drip irrigation and plumbing supplies for the schools native gardens. In addition with your donation, we will be able to fabricate a native butterfly garden, bughouses, birdhouses, and to replace much needed mulch with decomposing granite or other mulch material. We would love to replace our Edison High Native Habit Garden sign which is weathered and needs considerable refurbishing. We hope that you will support our efforts to expand hands-on education for our students with special needs.
