These essential workers worked throughout the pandemic, often in risky conditions. They received no reward for this and are now being asked to take a significant real-terms pay cut.

These workers are the city's disease prevention team. They empty our bins and dispose of our waste; they keep our streets, parks and public spaces clean and safe. Please support them as they take action to win fair pay for all local government workers.

We want to make sure that no worker suffers financial hardship as a result of any aspect of this dispute and as a result of our member’s principled stance to be absent from work and unpaid during periods of strike action.
