Edie's Birthday! Community garden

Donation protected
Hey everyone! As many of you know, Edie is in the Peace Corps in Namibia teaching in her village of Tsintsabis. She's doing great things but is working with limited supplies. So, for her 23rd birthday this year (August 15th!!) I want us all to help her out with an important project she's working on.

Right now the  kids in her community do not get enough food at home and rely on food at school but that is very unreliable and is pretty nutritionally weak (usually just Maize). She and other school staff have gotten the land and the permissions to start this vegetable garden for the community's benefit. They've also already gotten donations from a nearby farm for the seeds and help with irrigation and plowing (ensuring it will continue for years to come). But, right now the garden has no protection. With a lot of chickens and animals around, an unprotected garden is basically useless. Her budget is very low obviously, but if we all help out it can make a huge difference in getting the garden protected with chicken wire. The garden will be school run and all the produce will go straight to the learners, which will have a huge impact on them and their ability to learn.

Anything you can contribute would be really helpful. She doesn't know this is happening but on her birthday she'll see all the names and will love you guys so much, in her super excited Edie way.
