<div>For ten years, Edge Group Scotland has been helping young adults who have learning disabilities, are autistic and/or have other additional support needs (ASN) go further — further in their confidence, independence, skills and aspirations.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, as we celebrate our tenth year, we're going further together.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On 10th and 11th September 2026, TeamEdge and programme participants will take on the <strong>Edge to Edge Expedition — a unique stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) challenge across Scotland's Lowland Canal Network</strong>, supported by Scottish Canals.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over two days, the team will <strong>paddle over 50 miles, including the iconic Falkirk Wheel</strong>, all with one shared goal: creating more opportunities for the young adults we support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why Are We Doing This?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Edge to Edge Expedition is about much more than paddling from one side of Scotland to the other.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It is about celebrating ten years of impact while helping create opportunities for the years ahead.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every day, we support young adults to build confidence, develop practical life skills, gain real-world experience and take meaningful steps towards greater independence.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many of the opportunities that make the biggest difference happen beyond the classroom — volunteering placements, employability experiences, community projects, outdoor learning, travel training and accredited learning opportunities across East Lothian, Edinburgh and beyond.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Edge to Edge Expedition reflects the same qualities we encourage every day: determination, resilience, teamwork, confidence and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Throughout the expedition, TeamEdge and programme participants will paddle side-by-side, demonstrating what can be achieved when people are given opportunities to grow, develop and believe in their own potential.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why We're Fundraising</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As our specialist supported programmes continue to grow, so does the need for transport.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Transport is much more than simply getting from A to B.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It is often the key that unlocks opportunity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every week, our programme participants travel to access volunteering opportunities, employability experiences, outdoor activities, community projects and accredited learning opportunities that help build confidence, independence and future-ready skills.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds raised through the Edge to Edge Expedition will contribute towards a much-needed third minibus, helping us create more opportunities, more experiences and more pathways towards independence for the young adults we support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How You Can Help</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation, no matter the size, will help move us closer to our goal.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you're unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with friends, family, colleagues and your wider network is another fantastic way to support the expedition.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our goal is to raise £20,000 towards a third minibus and the future growth of opportunities for the young adults we support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Together, we can help create more opportunities for young adults to go further.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your support.
