Edgar's Pan American & World Championship

My name is Edgar Torres, and I am starting my Junior year at HML in Hialeah. As a young child I started karate because of my friend at school, never imagining I would have the opportunity to represent my country let alone be at the top of my continental region. I made the US National karate team for the first time in my young career, and became a Pan American Champion in the 12-13 -40kg division. I became national champion again in 2017 and 2019 (July 14, 2019)and will have the opportunity to represent my country at this years Pan American Championships (Guayaquil, Ecuador) and Junior World Championships (Santiago, Chile). I would like to ask for any contribution  possible to help me cover the cost of these trips as we don't have athlete founding from the federation at this time. Karate has made its quest into the olympics for 2020 in Tokyo, Japan . This is just the start to a long journey ahead.

Mi nombre es Edgar Torres, y estoy comenzando mi tercer año en HML en Hialeah. Cuando era niño, empecé a practicar karate debido a mi amigo en la escuela, sin imaginarme que tendría la oportunidad de representar a mi país y mucho menos estar en la cima de mi región continental. Hice el equipo nacional de karate de EE. UU. Por primera vez en mi joven carrera y me convertí en campeón panamericano en la división de 12-13 -40 kg. Volví a ser campeón nacional en 2017 y 2019 (Julio 14, 2019) y tendré la oportunidad de representar a mi país en el Campeonato Panamericano de este año (Guayaquil, Ecuador) y en el Campeonato Mundial Juvenil (Santiago, Chile). Me gustaría solicitar cualquier contribución posible para que me ayude a cubrir el costo de estos viajes, ya que en este momento no tenemos una fundación de atletas de la federación. Karate ha hecho su búsqueda en los Juegos Olímpicos para 2020 en Tokio, Japón. Esto es solo el comienzo de un largo viaje por delante.
