Eden FM Community Radio 24 hour fundraiser

Donation protected
Driven by a passion to serve the community, Eden FM switched on for the first time in 2010. It was Cumbria's first full-time licenced 'not for profit' community radio station, run 24 hrs a day, 365 days a year by volunteers. We are also one of the smallest, if not the smallest, community radio stations operating in the UK and we are in one of the most sparsely populated areas of the country, largely rural.

In order to continue to broadcast on 107.5 FM to Penrith and the Eden Valley areas, as well as online around the world, we need to update some of our ageing equipment. This is where we are appealing for your help. Every penny we raise will go towards new equipment, and every donation, no matter how big or small will be gratefully received.

This fundraising project, created by presenter volunteer Marty Strutt ( presenter of The Double Decade Show on Thursday evenings), along with other volunteer members in support, plans to complete a 24 hour Double Decade Weekend Party show of 70s and 80s music.

The 24 hour Double Decade Weekend Party starts at 10 am Saturday 2nd and ends at 10am Sunday 3rd September 2023.

This event is raising funds to help the station secure its future and will help towards sustaining its connection with the local community.
