Eddie's Severe Car Accident

Donation protected

**Update**The video that you're seeing above, is one of the many procedures I have to endure without any pain medication, numbing cream, anesthetic, etc. They have to inject lidocaine into the muscle with a 6" needle to cause trauma to the muscle to hopefully fix the muscle from severe spasms. It's extremely painful and I'm in tears while this treatment is happening all because of a drunk driver. This is why I can't work. Being in pain 24/7 is not easy. **

On March 19th, 2014, Eddie was in a high-speed car accident when an impaired driver smashed into him while he was driving in a 40 mph zone. The other driver was going over 100 mph when he smashed into him. Eddie was immediately rushed to Albany Med Trauma unit and was diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post Concussion Syndrome. His family and friends immediately started to notice that Eddie was having short/long term issues as well as cognitive issues. Several weeks later, Eddie started to have severe spinal pain and the doctors found out that he had a bulging disc which inflamed my spinal column. In 2015, Eddie received right Labrum hip surgery from the car accident which caused him to miss weeks of school while receiving his digital media degree and have surgery simultaneously.

However, three years later, Eddie is still unable to work due to severe spinal pain which he is going to have to receive an electrical pain stimulator spinal cord surgery. Due to the events that unfolded, Eddie suffers from PTSD because of the severe car accident. He hopes that when the surgery will help fix his chronic back pain and Eddie can pursue his career in graphic design. Unfortunately, bills have piled up within the past three years and countless medical appointments still to come. No one should have to endure all this because of an intoxicated driver, please help Eddie by donating.

Eddie will have to struggle for the rest of his life due to this car accident, bills shouldn't be one of them. I want to personally thank you for all the help and support you have all given me. Please share with your family and friends, ever little bit helps. Thank you!

(This is the surgery that Eddie requires for his spinal cord. There is a video if you wish to read about it.)
