Eddie's Accident

Hi everyone..
On Thursday 16th February a tragic accident took place where our dear friend and work mate Eddie suffered a fall whilst at work.
Eddie's injuries included a severly damaged spinal cord, fractured ribs, a collapsed lung, a fractured skull and brain trauma, resulting in him becoming a paraplegic. Eddie will spend the next 4-6 months in hospital and will have further rehabilitation following that.
Eddie is from a huge cultural Samoan background and has always been of the belief that he should be the provider for his family which he has done his whole life. We are all struggling to come to terms with what has happened and could not imagine how Eddie and his family are feeling since hearing this outcome, and we want to do what ever we can to help.
Eddie's wife gave birth to his first child a beautiful baby girl only 6 months ago and has been unable to work. Therefore we are hoping the community can come together to support Eddie and his family. We would love to raise as much money as possible for Eddie's family so they do not have any financial stress during his recovery and rehabilitation.
Just a quick update as go fund me has asked me to post some additional information - my name is Will I have worked with Eddie for the last few years and we have become great friends over the years I set this page up on behalf of Eddie and his family as it was too hard for them to find the right words to explain the situation straight away. These funds are going direct to Eddies partner Therese to help stay on top of the finances during this hard time! Thanks.
