UPDATE: We now have a date for dad’s funeral. It will be on 20th February at Woodlands Crematorium at 12.40pm. We welcome everyone who knew and cared for him to pay their respects. And I would like to personally thank every one of you who kindly and generously donated to this. I can’t express my gratitude. Xx

Hi, my name is April Baird and I am trying to raise funds in memory of my dad, Eddie Baird. Unfortunately, he has passed away after a short illness but was a well loved and very talented musician known as a member of the band Amazing Blondel but also for his work as a solo artist. He gave his whole life to his music which often went unnoticed, but not by everyone. He has a lot of people who followed his journey throughout his music career and who appreciated him. I’m just hoping that some of his friends or fans would be able to donate a small amount in this sad time to help give him the sendoff that he deserves. Any donation or gesture is greatly appreciated and will go towards the cost of his funeral, flowers and celebration of life where family and friends can gather together to share memories and no doubt many funny stories of our times together with him. His music touched the lives of many, and he dedicated his life to his craft with humility and heart.
