For over a year now, she has been battling cancer and her family has exhausted all resources to continue her treatment. As per her doctor, in Istanbul, there is a cure for her condition but Eda and her family are unable to keep up with the medication and treatment due to financial difficulties.

Here is a letter from her which I have translated:
Hi, I'm Eda Şahin, 19 years old. Originally from Maras, I am from Elbistan, from Sevdilli village. I've been fighting a bad disease for a year. However, due to our financial limitations, our choice of hospital and doctor is not so great: which has caused my condition to worsen. Right now my body is covered with malignant cancer, but we found an excellent doctor who has a treatment that will work for me. My family has exhausted all of their resources in this past year and we are in a very difficult financial situation at this time. My family and I are in trouble and our hands are tied. I need the help and support of my dear friends to continue my treatment.
I was treated at Capa Tip Faculty of Istanbul University for 1 year. It's been three weeks now since I have been receiving chemotherapy treatments with Dr. V. Canfeza Sezgin at Gaziosman Pasha Medical Park. I am also taking ozone and vitamin treatment at my doctor's clinic in Şişli Fulya.
