Our programs are:
Lose the fear of taking the citizenship test:
Free workshops where we help the permanent U.S. residents to let go of their fear and feel confident in their naturalization process.
The key to success is education:
Various workshops where we explain to the parents of immigrants how to understand and support the educational process of their children from preschool to college. We aim to motivate this population to obtain the diverse aids that are offered to receive a higher education.
Financial education:
Specialized workshops that equip immigrants with the necessary knowledge to understand the American financial system, the importance of taxes, the logic behind credit, and the regulations to create a company.
Career development and employment skills training:
We train immigrants so that they have the necessary tools for an effective job search.
CIVICS:
As new members of this society, it is necessary to have knowledge of the US’s history, laws, freedoms, and commitments to the country. For this reason, we hold different seminars and conferences to facilitate the integration of immigrants to their new environment.
Saving Lives:
In a partnership with the American Red Cross, MIRA USA’s volunteers are trained in the education and prevention of disasters, as is the installation of re alarms all over the country to save thousands of lives.
