Team Elisa
Elisa is a beloved single mother and friend battling Breast Cancer for the second time. She was first diagnosed in 2005 after the birth of her daughter Michaela. Fast forward 9 years later and she has been diagnosed for the second time in May of 2014. She is completing her chemotherapy treatments which began in May. The next steps include invasive surgeries followed by six weeks of radiation and her final surgery in the Spring of 2015. We hope she will be able to start the summer of 2015 with a fresh and healthy start! It is Elisa's hope as a single mom, that she and Michaela can keep home life as normal and happy as possible.
Uncovered tests and medical expenses, coupled with loss of wages from being off work to endure chemotherapy and doctor appointments, have financially taken a toll on her. If we can do one simple thing, it would be to help minimize her financial burden. Elisa needs support from her friends and family at this time of need. We are asking for donations from those close to Elisa to help her with some of these expenses. Elisa has served as LTYA Cheer President and Coach, LWE PTO Board member, Room Mom, along with many other community service projects. I cannot think of a more caring, giving, and deserving person than Elisa. Thank you for your kind gestures and prayers.
