Moses needs surgery!

Hi everyone! As some of you may already know, I adopted a kitten with major medical issues. His previous owners could no longer care for him. He's already had two surgeries and is in need of a third. Moses has had urinary issues since he was born. He cannot urinate on his own. He currently has a cystotomy tube in place that allows urine to drain into a tube that I empty. It sounds gross, I know. But, it's actually pretty easy and he's good for it! The surgery he needs a Perineal Urethostomy surgery. "A urethrostomy is a surgical procedure that creates an opening in the urethra, the tube that carries urine from the bladder. The procedure is done to correct obstruction to urine flow, a life-threatening condition. Even partial obstruction to urine flow can lead to serious complications such as urinary tract infection and loss of bladder tone. A urethrostomy relives obstructions caused by protein plugs, stones, trauma, or scarring. A temporary opening that is later allowed to close is called a urethrotomy. A permanent opening is called a urethrostomy. In cats the procedure is almost always done in the perineum, between the rectum and scrotum." Layman's terms; Moses is going to become a girl. All of Moses's doctors are hopeful this will be the last surgery he needs. But, it's expensive. I'm still trying to pay off the bills from his last surgeries. Moses is a spitfire with a great personality. He loves to run and play despite his setbacks. Moses and I need your help! I'd be happy to talk with anyone more about Moses and his situation.
