Ed needs meds

This is Ed. A 7 year old orange tabby cat. He is one loud mouth, loveable, fluffy man! Recently, he has had some complications with his health. He had completely stopped eating & drinking out of no where & losing a vast amount of weight. It took several vet visits & so much money to finally be diagnosed with Cholangiohepatitis. 

Cholangiohepatitis is a liver disease that effects any cat age or breed. With this disease, it causes inflammation in the liver and bile ducts, which are small vessels inside the liver. Classified as either acute or chronic disease. We are unsure if Ed has the acute disease that is treatable or the chronic one that could possibly lead to cancer. The only way to help get his liver back in working condition is antibiotics, medications, & constant care. 

Paying for the medications and vet visits for this young man is not an easy task to do for someone who has 2 part time jobs & lives on their own. I am trying my best to keep my bills in good standing, all while trying to get my little man in better health.

Another thing to know about mister Ed, he has the nickname monster. He comes off as aggressive to some because he is very territorial to what’s his. He also despises the vet & going there to visit all the lovely techs that try to help him, which makes things even more difficult & pricey for me. They have to sedate him to get him the proper care that he needs because of how fussy he is.

I hope I’m not asking for too much & I know we’re in the middle of a pandemic, but his sister needs her playmate back!
