Ed Murray Scholarship Fund

Eddie Murray, a 1975 graduate of Crowley's Ridge Academy , passed away on July 11, 2017. Thanks to the intervention of a local family and the Center Hill Church of Christ, Ed and his siblings were able to attend CRA, where he met his wife, Sherry (Pendergrass, '75) Murray. Ed and Sherry have long been committed to ministry, serving congregations across the Midwest for more than 30 years. Our goal is to pay forward the blessings and opportunity once afforded to our great husband, father, friend and servant.  The Murray family has established this endowment scholarship fund at CRA in Eddie's memory, and the funds will be used to provide tuition for a student(s) each year who would greatly benefit from attending CRA but lacks the financial resources to do so.

We ask that donations be made to this fund in lieu of flowers.
