Ed Martel

In 2000 Ed first was diagnosed with cancer, specifically Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He went through chemotherapy for 9 months in 2000 and received a bone marrow transplant in 2003. Some time later Ed was hospitalized with pneumonia which led to a leg amputation and loss of some fingertips due to septic shock. He also received a gall bladder transplant. 

This past year Ed was again hospitalized and was eventually diagnosed with cancer throughout his Cerebral Spinal Fluid.  He is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment and is waiting to find a match for a bone marrow transplant. 

Ed Martel is my boss and mentor at Health Quest Physical Therapy with his wife Julie. Together Julie and Ed have 3 children, Elise, Eddie, and Luke. They have been under a tremendous amount of pressure trying to manage Ed's health, medical bills, while still caring for their family and clinic. 

With all the medical treatment Ed has had to receive any donation you are able to offer will be a great help to the Martel family.
