Ed Helvey's recovery

Hi all,
My Pop is a proud man so I decided to take it upon myself to set up this fundraiser for him (he would, of course, not approve!). He's worked very hard his whole life and this illness caught all of us off guard (as they do!).
As we all know, medical costs in the US are astronomical. Even after Medicare and such, Ed will probably still end up owing $10-20k in medical bills after all is said and done. I wish I was in a better position to support him financially, but since leaving my corporate job, I'm still building my business as a freelance web/ecommerce manager.
Please do not feel under any obligation...we will survive this as we have survived much worse. But, if you do feel inspired to donate to help with his bills, recovery and to get him back on the road, my family would certainly appreciate it.
Thank you everyone for your love and support. It really means a lot to us. And thank you to the folks who suggested posting this fundraiser. I hope this gives you an opportunity to contribute to man we all hold in the highest esteem and help get him back on his feet.
