Well it's a long story but let's make it short. Since 2016 I had been trying to fulfill a small dream, to open my own small business. But many things happened that lead me to work full time as a Barista for some years. And now with a really small saving from some work tips I finally made the first step. But unfortunately I came across to many other expenses that I'm not been able to fulfill, and sadly i'm not working as a Barista anymore. Now again my resources are very limited.
With this project I intent to develop a sustainable Plant Based Milk. As a Barista and Lactose intolerance I came across to many needs and concerns from big commercial plant based companies. From customers words to some research that I made, we all agree that a lot Plant Based Milks contains crazy amount of sugars, chemicals, unnatural preservatives, gum, and overall NO vitamins benefits. And unfortunately there are not many local small business that could support the local demand with a sustainable Plant Based Milk.
For me it's not only about fulfilling a dream it's mainly the positive environmental impact we can make all together. With this project I intent to develop an informative and user friendly website to educate on how can we all contribute to the environment. And with time I will love to expand this project to other local places to keep reaching and helping communities making a positive impact on their own environment.
I'm really excited with this project because it's not only about drinking Plant Based Milk. It's adding a meaningful vitamins to the body (with recipe that I develop), helping the environment, educating others and giving peace of mind to those who try to escape from the big companies (like me). On such a short time people had been asking for the milks, but i'm limited with the amount I can make daily with just one machine. I would love to expand with more equipment and a rented space/kitchen to work for all of those amazing people who are already asking me for more.
