Economical freedom from marriage

“I am 33 years old, I am a stay home mother of two beautiful children, 4 and 7. I have been married for 9 years. 
My husband is a fireman. In June of this year, I found out he was having an affair with a firewoman who was hired at his station in may. When I found out about the affair my husband blamed me for it. He said I had pushed him to it because I was a terrible wife. I felt I had todo everything I could to save my marriage. I started counseling. I was scared and shocked. Icouldn’t believe that was happening. After going to therapy for three months and realizing none of this was my fault, I learned that he continued his relationship with this woman and she was ok with him being married. He said she didn’t want to be in between us so she would rather not know if we were together or not. During the three months, he got a second job and convinced me to get a line of credit from the equity of our home to buy himself a corvette. He said he felt that we needed to live a little and that he would pay it off with the income from his second job. 

When I confronted him, he accused me of being insecure, obsessive, and crazy. He left the house and started spending all of our money in this woman. I immediately filed the divorce. He said if I dare to touch his money, he would make it his goal to turn my kids against me.

He now wants for us to sell our home because I don’t have money to buy his part of the profit even thought he already used part of it to buy his car. He is now living with his girlfriendand explained my kids they’re getting a second mom. I would like to keep our home so my kids don’t have to go through more than they already have and be able to stand up for myself and them through this hard process. Thank you.”
