Sie leiden unter einem Mangel an Lebensmitteln und Kleidung, bedingt durch die hohen Preise und die weltweite Teuerungswelle, die insbesondere den Gazastreifen hart trifft.

<div>Mein Bruder heißt Mohammed Qeshta, er hat eine dreijährige Tochter. Seine Frau ist schwanger, und sie erhält keinerlei medizinische Betreuung wegen der höheren Preisen. Mein Bruder besorgt für meinen Vater, meine Mutter, meinen Bruder und meine Schwester, die drei Kinder hat. Sie sind zum zweiten Mal aus Rafah geflüchtet, ohne jegliche Lebensgrundlagen, aufgrund der heftigen Angriffe. Unser Vater leidet an chronischen Krankheiten wie Bluthochdruck, Diabetes und Herzproblemen und hat keinen Zugang zu Medikamenten und wenn auf dem Markt gibt’s dann zu teuer.

<div>Due to the ongoing genocide in Gaza, my family was forced to flee the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip for the second time. They are now staying in Khan Younis, in conditions that are unfit for living, without access to the most basic necessities of life.
</div>
<div>There are 12 people in total, all living together in a two-room apartment. They are suffering from severe shortages of food, clothing, and other essentials, made worse by soaring prices and the global economic crisis — which is hitting Gaza particularly hard.

<div>My brother, Mohammed Qeshta, has a three-year-old daughter, and his wife is pregnant but has received no medical care because the costs are too high. Mohammed is also responsible for taking care of my father, my mother, my younger brother, and our sister, who herself has three children.

<div>They fled Rafah under intense bombardment, again with nothing, and are now struggling to survive.
</div>
<div>Our father suffers from chronic illnesses, including high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart disease. He has no access to necessary medications — and when they are available on the market, they are far too expensive to afford.
