E-cigarette Explosion

An e-cigarette exploded in Scotts pocket on 9-11-18. He has been in Parkland Hospital since the event occurred.  He received 3rd degree burns on his right thigh and had to have a skin graft surgery. He has 2nd degree burns on his right hand and it is healing up well.
 
Scott has no health insurance and is a self-employed contractor. Scott has lost wages from not being able to work and it could take him months to get back to his old self.  

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
