*First note that several friends of the Irons family created this page. Those of who know Armon know how incredibly generous he is and would never think to ask for help for himself - It was however easier for them to be able to manage this page themselves so we put the account in Sonee's name*
As most of you already know, our friend Armon had a pretty nasty run in with a chainsaw last week that almost took his arm.
At first I thought it can't get much worse than to almost completely severe your arm with a chainsaw!!! Then we heard that he waited almost TEN agonzing, painful hours before going into surgery. I can not imagine waiting that long - in horrible pain - not knowing if you will ever be able to use your arm again. But unfortunately the worst part of this ordeal has yet to come.
Thankfully the doctors were able to save his arm but he has a very long road ahead of him. Months of recovery and endless hours of physical therapy are in his future before he will be able to return to normal. I wish we could all wave a magic wand for them - take away the stress of how he is going to support his family and pay the endless medical bills so that he could just focus on healing. At the very least we CAN help with the burden and be there for them the way in which they have been there for many of us. THAT is what family does and I know that together we can make a difference.
If everyone who sees this were to donate - even if it is the cost of your morning latte for a week - we could collectively make a huge difference in their lives. They would never ask for help themselves yet would be the first to help a friend in need and for all they have done I can't think of a more deserving family.
