FSU Dance Team to Nationals

We are the official Dance Team of Ferris State University.
In August we attended National Dance Alliance (NDA) camp in Louisville, Kentucky and were awarded a Bronze Bid to Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL in April 2015! Being awarded a Bid to Nationals is an honor and accomplishment to have the exciting opportunity to represent our school and compete for the National Title. There is a great deal of time, dedication, and practice that goes into preparing for the National Competition, but we look forward to this opportunity and challenge.

This is will be the first year in history that the Ferris State University Dance Team will be competing at Nationals. This is a great ambition for a team that is fully student ran (we do not have a coach), the only one in their competition division! Because we are a Registered Student Organization/Club Sport, and not an Athletic Team, we are only allotted a very small amount of money each year for our team. This makes the task of raising thousands of dollars on our own to attend Nationals very daunting. With your help, we can make history and be the first Dance Team from Ferris State University to compete at a National Competition.

We would like to ask for your help in making this dream a reality by allowing our team to represent Ferris State University at NDA Nationals. We are looking to raise $8,000 towards the costs of Nationals, which includes registration fees, plane tickets, costumes, choreographer fees, and studio renting costs. Every amount brings us closer to our goal. Our cause is a very humble one coming from a team of only 10 girls from a small town University.
