Ebony's Breast Cancer Battle

Our daughter, sister, friend Ebony was diagnosed with bilateral invasive mammary carcinoma, ductal type breast cancer in September of 2019 at the age of 38. She had a bilateral mastectomy November 2019. In January 2020, she started chemotherapy. She had the final round of chemo in the middle of the COVID shutdown and continued with radiation in May and June.  She will take medication for the next 5 to 10 years to prevent the cancer from returning. As of September 2020, she is in remission!

Still… 

Ebony is a single mother with two kids ages 7and 8. She needs help while she is in recovery. She is experiencing the long-term side effects from the surgery, chemo and radiation and needs assistance to pay for childcare in order go to physical therapy and other medical appointments. She is also unemployed, unable to work and in urgent need of assistance with living expenses.
