Please Help Us Avoid Eviction

My wife and I moved to CA after being laid off in PA. We had hoped to start a small business but all of our plans fell through. We have put in hundreds of applications looking for work and trying to get back on our own feet again, but nothing has panned out as of yet. We are hard workers and both worked in professional fields. We have always taken care of ourselves and made sure to help as many others as possible, giving more than we have received many times. Now we find ourselves in need of help to keep a roof over our heads while we find work again to go back to doing for others instead of worrying about ourselves and where we will stay.
