Chapel FM Arts Centre is a vibrant community arts hub in Seacroft, East Leeds, where people of all ages and backgrounds come to make music, poetry, and meet up. We’re a vital local resource in a part of Leeds that needs us.

Every year we bring out the Chapel FM Anthology. Published by fabulous Yaffle Press, the Anthology is a collection of poetry and stories by writers from all over Leeds and beyond, many of whom are new or young writers who have never seen one of their poems in print before.

To see your own poem in print in a beautifully produced book is an amazing confidence boost. It can change the course of a life.

BUT this year the Chapel FM Anthology won’t happen unless you help us.

We’re living through tough times in the arts, and the truth is that this year at Chapel FM we just don’t have our usual resources to publish the Anthology. With over 80 writers having already sent in fantastic poems and stories, we really want to make it happen. Please help us.

In addition to the Anthology, we also need money to fund particular aspects of Writing On Air , our unique writing-on-the-radio festival. At present there is no money to pay for marketing/publicity. Without that, no festival!

This is the first time ever that Chapel FM has asked our community for help in this way. We may never have to ask again, but this year we need you. Thank you any contribution you can make.
