Eaton Family Harvey Relief Fund

The devastating flooding in and around Houston, TX has left so many homes destroyed and families displaced. Our dear friends Garrett and Lena moved to Houston from Connecticut a year ago and recently bought a home in the Thornwood community of Houston. Their house was completely flooded during the storm and although they are grateful to be safe with their one year old son Michael, the damage and repairs needed is overwhelming. We have become like family during our time living in Houston and our dogs have even weathered the hurricane together. As we have been spared of significant flooding ourselves, we want to help take the burden off  our friends in any way we can. As many others in Houston, they do not have flood insurance (their home is located in the 500 year flood zone). Funds raised will go directly to the Eaton family to help rebuild their home as well as provide assistance with items lost in the flood- clothing and toys for their son, etc.  Please consider donating any amount if you are looking for a way to help those in need in Texas.
