Eastyn's Medical Fund

As most of you know Eastyn Herbster contracted E. coli strain 0157.  He was admitted to Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Friday the 27th.   They released him on Sunday the 29th and he continued to improve.  Tuesday, Eastyn began experiencing issues urinating and was very lethargic.  April and Ritchie took him back to the ER in Lawrence and they transported him to Childrens Mercy by ambulance.  After more labs were taken they diagnosed him with Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS) which is a severe complication of E. coli infection 0157 and serioiusly affects the kidneys.  Eastyn has to under go dialysis and will have a blood transfusion to improve his health.  He will continue to stay at Children's Mercy for up to a month to be treated and recover.  Because of on going treatments, April and Ritchie will be at Children's Mercy helping Eastyn recover and will not be able to work a normal work schedule.  As we all know, we would not want to leave our child at the hospital on their own to face this terrifying obstacle.  We truly appreciate your prayers and financial help at this time and all money raised will absolutely help the Herbster family to overcome this medical crises.  Thank you in advance for your help and support.
