Eastwood Family House Fire

Family, friends, and community...

I am reaching out for help on behalf of my sister-in-law, Stacey, and her family.  Due to faulty electrical wiring, Stacey's house caught on fire and she and her family lost everything.  The word "everything" is often overused, whether it is on purpose to exaggerate a situation or unintentional, to get one's point across.  In this case, the word everything means, her and her family’s entire home, which they have lived in for over 19 years, has been deemed uninhabitable, and its contents (furniture, appliances, clothing, keepsakes, daily necessities, etc.) are a loss.

There are crucial elements about Stacey and her family that you need to know, thus giving you some insight into the people you will be helping and supporting.  Stacey is a single mother of two teenage girls, one of which has Asperger’s, and an adult daughter who is married with a baby.  She works three jobs in order to make ends meet and provide all that is needed for a good life for her, her girls, and her grandbaby.

Her home has always been a setting for numerous birthdays, holidays, and celebrations and we truly wish to restore the warmth that Stacey created for her family.  At this moment, I pray that you can find it in your hearts to donate whatever you can afford for their immediate necessities.

Thank you,

Sarah Brier
