Easton Ducharme -medical

My 3 year old nephew Easton Ducharme who lives in Helena with his parents Erin and David and 6 year old sister Kennedy Ducharme had his adenoids and tonsils removed a few weeks ago and the dr said that the swelling in his neck and chin would go down. The swelling did not go down so Erin and David Ducharme took him in on Wednesday June 7, 2017 to get a blood test. The blood test came back and the pediatrician said that they needed to travel to Kalispell to meet with the pediatric oncologist on Thursday. Thursday evening around 4:30 pm we received the news that Easton Ducharme had been diagnosed with a
Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia which is aggressive. Erin and Easton were flown to Denver on Friday morning to start intense chemotherapy. He will have treatment in Denver for a period of time and then the aggressive treatments will continue for the next 8 months. This battle will go on for 3 plus years. Traveling back and forth from Helena to Kalispell when needed. The next 3 plus years are going to be full of travel expenses, lodging and medical.
