Easter 22-St Fergus NS Parents Council Fundraiser

We’re raising money in aid of St Fergus Primary School and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us

St. Fergus NS Glin Parents Council is delighted to announce that it will be organising a sponsored walk and coffee morning to raise funds to support school activities.- The event takes place on Saturday April 9th with a sponsored walk starting at the Knights Walk, Glin at 11am. Everyone, both young and old, is encouraged to walk on the day and ask their friends and family to sponsor them. For anyone that can’t do the walk you can still lend your support by calling in to Ceol Corbrai where the Parents Council will be running a coffee morning, full of tasty treats. Joint Secretaries, Lisa Henderson and Siobhan Kelleher, St. Fergus NS Parents Council, Glin, are excited to be able to call on the community to support the event. “We are delighted to be in a position to run the sponsored walk and coffee morning. So many of the parents have gotten involved and I’m sure the hall will look like the Great Glin Bake Off! We are encouraging everyone in the village and surrounding parishes to call in for a cuppa and some cake. It’s a social event but it will help us to raise funds to support the school. The Parents Council normally supports art activities and transport costs for various trips, so now that the children have opportunities available to them again we are only too happy to give support where we can.” There’s an amazing raffle running too with a family hotel break in Galway and a 4 ball with lunch or dinner on offer for the lucky winners. So, if you are in Glin on Saturday, April 9th, walk the Knights walk and meet your friends for a coffee and treat. What a lovely way to spend an April morning.
