East Bay Warriors Quest to Nationals - December 4 - 14, 2014
The East Bay Warriors Pop Warner football program is based in Oakland, California and has been serving the youth of Oakland and the surrounding areas for nearly 20 years. Throughout its existence the program has garnered a reputation as the most dominantly successful Pop Warner football program in the Pacific Northwest and arguably the nation. The East Bay Warriors program routinely produces several of the Bay Area's top college football prospects and even boasts multiple NFL prospects and players.
The East Bay Warriors football program serves one of the most economically challenged areas in the west coast, using the themes of sportsmanship, team work, and disciple to channel Oakland's youth to more productive extracurricular activities than those that may ordinarily be made available. What has resulted is a program that has dominated youth athletics throughout the western United States.
The program has developed 32 Pop Warner National Championship finalists since 2002 all while routinely traveling to the National Championship tournament in Orlando, Florida with 70% or less than their full team rosters. This regular occurrence is due primarily to the economic challenges facing the children and their families as well as the program as a whole. Players who have been in the program for as many as 6 years may have qualified for the National Championship tournament each of those 6 years but have not been able to attend even once because of economic conditions beyond their control.
This year we are raising money to help the Junior Peewee Wolverines and Junior Midget Wolves attend the Pop Warner National Championships scheduled for December 4 -14 of this year. Our goal is to ensure that every single player and coach for both teams is able to attend this year's tournament so that each and every child can have the opportunity to experience an even that for many has remained elusive despite their qualification due to circumstances well beyond their control. Please help to make a positive impact in these kids' lives. All proceeds will go to registration and travel arrangements for the team and will not be used for any personal agenda or gain.
