Hi, my name is Mel and I’m fundraising to try and ease the financial stress on my family.

On Wednesday my father, Rodney, went in to undergo a standard colonoscopy in Maryborough . During this procedure my dad’s lungs collapsed and upon removing the camera the doctor perforated my dads bowel.

Dad has now been taken in for another round of surgery to try to repair the damage and get an infection under control. If they are unable to control the infection my dad will need a stoma bag.

he will need to take time off work to recover. My sister Lara who is only 21 has now become the sole income earner and this is a burden no young person should so I’m trying to ease that by raising money to help them in this tough time.
